A hopeful travel blog!

Hi friends and family!

So here's at least the plan. As many of you know, our family is heading to Rome for Christmas and New Year. Needless to say, we're all pretty excited! I'm hoping that the promised Internet access at the Residence Vatican Suites (see photo) is up to speed. If so, my plan is to share some highlights and perhaps some photos in this "travel blog" format, so that you can travel alongside of us via cyberspace! (If you don't receive any updates, one of two things happened. Either our Internet connection did not work out, or I was simply too worn out from walking all over Rome each day!) If you get a chance, leave a comment or two to the posts so that I know this is working out.
God bless and Merry Christmas from Rome from the Langs!

Awesome idea. you should have 24 additional companions on your journey. Put in a good word for us with the Pope :)
Enjoy!

Peace

Tom:

Be sure to bring us back info/pictures of at least one "Deacon" martyr site.

And please invite B16 to join one of our classes while he is nearby. Be sure to tell him that we get really good lunches!

Mary and my prayers are with you, Carla, and the family there. We await your return with Joy, but yes you can drop a few hints to the Holy Father to join us.

Peace,
Phil and Mary
